There was an upset in Uusikaupunki where Kobrat was rolled over by Korihait 98-73 on Saturday. The game without a history. Korihait led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Korihait forced 20 Kobrat turnovers. Bosnian point guard Bojan Sarcevic (190-1988) fired 21 points and 5 assists for the winners. American swingman Jalen Jackson (198-1994, college: UALR) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Danny Pippen (206-1997, college: Kent St.) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import guard KJ Jackson (188-1998, college: UMBC) added 19 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Korihait will meet Nokia on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kobrat will play against Pyrinto and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
