The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Vic as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Vic defeated 8th ranked Mataro Parc at home 85-68. Vic forced 21 Mataro Parc turnovers and outrebounded them 46-29 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Jofre Canal (195-2000) fired 13 points for the winners. Forward David Vidal (194-1997) chipped in 11 points. Guard Miki Fons (185-1998) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Javier Rodriguez (202-1992) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vic (13-2) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Mataro UE and Chantada. Mataro Parc at the other side dropped to the seventh place with eight games lost.
