There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Brianza Casa (8-9) rolled over 8th ranked Monfalcone (8-9) in Bernareggio 76-52 on Saturday. Brianza Casa dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Monfalcone's 26. Brianza Casa forced 23 Monfalcone turnovers. Fabio Bugatti (198-1998, agency: SLN) nailed 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and Matteo Galassi (185-1998) accounted for 12 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Guard Andrea Cestaro (190-2000) came up with 11 points and 7 rebounds and the former international power forward Massimo Rezzano (205-1982) added 14 points respectively for Monfalcone in the defeat.
