Regular Season Round 13: Pljevlja - Balkanski Ris 85-83

The most exciting game of round 13 in the Prva B took place in Pljevlja. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Balkanski Ris (7-5) to first ranked Pljevlja (10-1) 85-83 on Saturday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Balkanski Ris. Pljevlja had a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Alex Holcombe (206, college: DBU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. Matija Dragutinovic (-2004) contributed with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Pljevlja's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Sinisa Boskovic (-2003) answered with 32 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Holden Redparth (196-1997, college: FMU) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Balkanski Ris. Five Pljevlja and four Balkanski Ris players scored in double figures. Pljevlja maintains first place with 10-1 record. Newly promoted Balkanski Ris dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with Vukovi Zeta.
