Very predictable result when tenth ranked Charilaos (8-7) won against bottom-ranked Kavalas (1-14) in Mesolongi 80-73 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for center Periklis Kouroupakis (206-2002) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Nikos Houhoumis (186-1996) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Four Charilaos players scored in double figures. Charilaos' coach Ilias Moutsios used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Guard Christodoulos Bozis (190-2000) came up with 18 points and 6 assists and guard Savvas Pehlivanidis (186-2002) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Kavalas in the defeat.
