Regular Season Round 22: Tychy - Pelplin 81-48

Very predictable result in Tychy where fourth ranked GKS (15-7) smashed 10th ranked Decka (11-11) 81-48 on Saturday. GKS dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Decka's 28. They outrebounded Decka 40-26 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-1994) fired 13 points and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Patryk Stankowski (194-2000) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Thomas Davis (198-1991, college: SWOSU) produced 2 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Pawel Kopycki (204-2000) added 8 points respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. GKS maintains fourth position with 15-7 record. Decka at the other side keeps the tenth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Polonia W-wa.
