Regular Season Round 16: SESE - Martinenc 88-84

There was a surprise result in Barcelona where ninth ranked SESE (7-8) won against higher ranked Martinenc (9-6) 88-84 on Saturday. SESE made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Alberto Reyes (195-1990) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 rebounds and Victor Sanchez who added 20 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. SESE's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side guard Aboubakar Samake (188-1998) responded with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and center Pol Barbecho (203-2002) scored 21 points (made all of his seven free throws). Four SESE and five Martinenc players scored in double figures. SESE moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 6 other teams. Loser Martinenc dropped to the third position with six games lost. They share it with 5 other teams. SESE's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Barcelona to the arena Barca 2.
