Very expected game when 11th ranked BT Madrid (5-9) was defeated at home by second ranked Guadalajara (11-3) 81-77 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Raul Lazaro (195-1987) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 7 rebounds and Venezuelan power forward Luis Valera (202-1988, college: UTRGV) who added 21 points during the contest. Guadalajara's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side forward Asier De la Iglesia (201-1983) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and Tiago Teixeira (-2004) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Four BT Madrid players scored in double figures. Guadalajara have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 11-3 record having five points less than leader Huelva CD, which they share with Socuellamos and Llucmajor. Newly promoted BT Madrid dropped to the tenth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Quart-Germans C. Guadalajara will meet Chlorella (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BT Madrid's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Madrid Pinto Basket.
