Rather expected game in Caceres where 8th ranked Torta del Casar (5-8) was defeated by sixth ranked CBSFDO (8-5) 79-74 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of Jose Ruiz (200-1997) who helped to win the game recording 39 points (!!!) and Josu Remesal (-1995) who added 15 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Puerto Rican point guard Douglas Mills (188-1990) responded with 30 points and naturalized British David Sainsbury (202-1994) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. CBSFDO maintains sixth position with 8-5 record. Loser Torta del Casar dropped to the seventh place with eight games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. CBSFDO will meet league's leader Huelva CD on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
