No shocking result in a game when third ranked Venezia (15-3) crushed at home 11th ranked Crema (5-13) 83-62 on Sunday. Venezia looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Crema's players. American forward Jessica Shepard (193-1996, college: Notre Dame) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and Finnish-Egyptian center Awak Kuier (196-2001) supported her with 15 points and 4 assists. Five Venezia players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 5 rebounds by Guinean forward Masseny Kaba (191-1998, college: UCF) did not help to save the game for Crema. American swingman Jasmine Dickey (175-2000, college: Delaware, agency: LBM Management) added 12 points and 8 rebounds. Venezia maintains third position with 15-3 record having just two points less than leader Schio. Newly promoted Crema keeps the eleventh place with 13 games lost.
