D1 top team - M.Ashdod (14-0) added another victory to their record on Monday. This time they beat seventh ranked E.Holon (5-9) 85-80. M.Ashdod looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. American center Kalani Brown (201-1997, college: Baylor, agency: LBM Management) scored 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import point guard Natisha Hiedeman (173-1997, college: Marquette) chipped in 13 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. American swingman Alex Harden (180-1993, college: Wichita St.) responded with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from downtown making all five shots) and American-Bosnian forward Courtney Hurt (185-1990, college: VCU) scored 24 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Four E.Holon players scored in double figures. M.Ashdod have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-0 record. E.Holon lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with nine games lost. M.Ashdod are looking forward to face ASA Jerusalem (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. E.Holon will play against E.Ramla and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
