Bottom-ranked Skrljevo managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the nine-game losing streak. This time they outleveled eighth-ranked Zabok 93-66. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 27-point difference proves that Skrljevo was well-prepared to that game. American point guard Griffin Ramme (190-1989, college: Chapman) notched 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and the other American import guard Derryck Thornton (190-1997, college: Boston Coll.) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Even 14 points and 5 rebounds by Montenegrin center Marko Perovic (204-1992, agency: 011 Sports) did not help to save the game for Zabok. Forward Luksa Buljevic (200-2002, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 10 points and 5 rebounds. Five Skrljevo and four Zabok players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Skrljevo (4-14) moved-up to eleventh place. Zabok at the other side keeps the eighth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Alkar and Bosco. Skrljevo will play against higher ranked Alkar (#9) in Sinj in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Zabok will play at home against Split where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
