No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Njardvik (11-8) crushed at home 7th ranked Breidablik (3-16) 85-45 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Njardvik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Breidablik to just 7 points in third quarter. Njardvik forced 23 Breidablik turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Portuguese point guard Raquel Laniero (171-2000) who led the winners and scored 16 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. The former international forward Isabella Sigurdardottir (187-1997) accounted for 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. The former international forward Rosa Petursdottir (175-1997) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Anna Larusdottir (174-1999) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Breidablik in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Njardvik have a solid series of three victories in a row.
