No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Njardvik (11-8) crushed at home 7th ranked Breidablik (3-16) 85-45 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Njardvik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Breidablik to just 7 points in third quarter. Njardvik forced 23 Breidablik turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Portuguese point guard Raquel Laniero (171-2000) who led the winners and scored 16 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. The former international forward Isabella Sigurdardottir (187-1997) accounted for 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. The former international forward Rosa Petursdottir (175-1997) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Anna Larusdottir (174-1999) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Breidablik in the defeat.
