The game in Sauoarkrokur was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked KR (9-7) played at the court of 8th ranked Tindastoll (2-14). KR managed to secure a 8-point victory 72-64 on Wednesday. Tindastoll trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 17-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 64-72 at the end of the game. KR forced 19 Tindastoll turnovers. American guard Violet Morrow (176-1997, college: EWU, agency: Interperformances) notched a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Fanney Ragnarsdottir (172-1996) supported her with 14 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Morrow is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 37 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds by American forward Jayla Johnson (188, college: EKU) did not help to save the game for Tindastoll. Serbian-Hungarian power forward Emese Vida (190-1993) added 17 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KR moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hamar. Tindastoll lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 14 games lost. KR will meet league's second-placed Snaefell in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Tindastoll will play against Breidablik B (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
