There was no surprise in Barcelona where 9th ranked SESE (7-9) was defeated by second ranked Barca 2 (12-4) 69-52 on Thursday. Barca 2 forced 21 SESE turnovers. Lithuanian forward Kasparas Jakucionis (187-2006) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Italian forward Dame Sarr (196-2006) chipped in 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Center Fernand Vilar (202-2003, agency: BIG) responded with 9 points and 6 rebounds and Victor Sanchez scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
