An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Novi Sad. Third ranked Serbian Vojvodina 021 faced one of their biggest challengers Bulgarian Montana. Host Vojvodina 021 (8-2) defeated guests from Montana (5-5) 50-46. Montana was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 11-5 charge of Vojvodina 021, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Montana to just 5 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded Montana 49-32 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Vojvodina 021 brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Vojvodina 021 maintains third position with 8-2 record behind leader Celje. Newly promoted Montana keeps the fourth place with five games lost. Vojvodina 021 will play against Duga (#6) in Sabac in the next round. Montana will play on the road against Orlovi in Banja Luka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
