Rather predictable result when twelfth ranked Lucca (4-14) defeated at home bottom-ranked Valdarno (2-17) 82-65 on Saturday. Lucca forced 23 Valdarno turnovers. Dutch forward Kourtney Treffers (187-1994, agency: LBM Management) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Forward Maria Miccoli (183-1995) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Lucca players scored in double figures. Australian guard Madeleine Garrick (180-1992) produced 9 points and 13 rebounds and Serbian-Hungarian forward Tijana Krivacevic (196-1990) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Valdarno's coach Alberto Matassini rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Lucca maintains twelfth place with 4-14 record. Newly promoted Valdarno stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. They share it with Brescia.
