The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (12-3) in Tel Aviv on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Hapoel Holon (11-5) 93-87. Worth to mention a great performance of American CJ Harris (191-1991, college: Wake Forest) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 rebounds. The former international Shawn Dawson (198-1993) contributed with 24 points for the winners. American swingman Jordan McRae (197-1991, college: Tennessee) replied with 18 points and 5 assists and the former international guard Bar Timor (190-1992, agency: Avi Zilberman) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Four Hapoel Holon and five Hapoel Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures. Hapoel Tel-Aviv's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hapoel Holon have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains third position with 11-5 record having just two points less than leader M.Tel-Aviv. Hapoel Tel-Aviv at the other side dropped to the second place with three games lost. Hapoel Holon are looking forward to face Galil Elion (#5) in Kfar Blum in the next round. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will play at home against E.Kiryat Ata and is hoping to win this game.
