Regular Season Round 20: Rubon - Tsmoki II 77-78

The most exciting game of round 20 in the Premier League took place in Vitebsk. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Rubon (13-8) to fifth ranked Tsmoki II (7-11) 78-77 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Rubon. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Roman Scherbakov (184-2003) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 6 assists and forward Artem Sekushenko (195-2001) who added 8 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Tsmoki II's coach Georgiy Kondrusevich used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Konstantin Satsuk (193-2000) responded with 24 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the former international forward Victor Ovsepyan (202-1991) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Tsmoki II moved-up to fourth place. Rubon at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
