There was no surprise when 14th ranked Bergamo (5-13) was defeated at home by tenth ranked Brianza Casa (9-9) 84-69 on Saturday. Brianza Casa dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Bergamo's 20 and made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was guard Alessandro Bertini (195-2002) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Matteo Galassi (185-1998) chipped in 17 points. Five Brianza Casa players scored in double figures. Brianza Casa's coach Nazareno Lombardi used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
