Very predictable result when second ranked Montenegro (10-3) defeated at home 10th ranked Ulcinj (3-9) 72-62 on Saturday. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Ulcinj's 24. They outrebounded Ulcinj 38-23 including a 28-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was center Nikola Bojicic (198-2001) who scored 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Lebanese forward Karim Rtail (198-2004) chipped in 13 points. Gojko Radulovic produced 18 points and Dusan Bevenja added 17 points and 6 steals respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Montenegro maintains second position with 10-3 record behind leader Pljevlja. Newly promoted Ulcinj dropped to the ninth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Zeta and Akademik. Montenegro will meet bottom-ranked Sedmica (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Ulcinj will play against the league's leader Pljevlja (#1) and hope to secure a win.
