There was a small surprise when fourteenth ranked Corato Adr. (5-12) edged at home 11th ranked Salerno (7-11) 63-61 on Sunday. They outrebounded Salerno 41-26 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was point guard Mauro Stella (190-1984) who scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Pasquale Battaglia (187-1993) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Corato Adr. players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Alessio Donadoni (197-1997, agency: SLN) who recorded 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Dario Zucca (203-1996) added 17 points respectively.
