No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Desio (10-8) outleveled on the road 16th ranked Palermo (3-14) 97-54 on Sunday. They outrebounded Palermo 45-32 including 36 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Andrea Mazzoleni (197-1998) who scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward Giacomo Maspero (204-1992) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Desio players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Jona Di Giuliomaria (191-2002) who recorded 20 points and Montenegrin Nikola Markus (200-1996) added 3 points and 12 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
