The game in Reykjavik was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Skallagrimur (10-9) played at the court of 8th ranked Armann (5-8). Skallagrimur managed to secure a 4-point victory 78-74 on Monday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Skallagrimur looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American Keith Jordan (198-1998, college: SHU) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Slovenian forward Milorad Sedlarevic (201-1993, college: UPEI) accounted for 15 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Point guard Arnor Hermannsson (192-1998) came up with 12 points and 9 rebounds and guard Eyjolfur Halldorsson (196-1998) added 9 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Armann in the defeat. Armann's coach Karl Guddaugsson tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Skallagrimur. They moved-up to fourth place. Newly promoted Armann keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Skallagrimur will meet at home higher ranked Sindri (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Armann's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Reykjavik Fjolnir.
