No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Galil Elion (9-7) beat 10th ranked E.Kiryat Ata (4-11) in Kfar Blum 92-86 on Monday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Galil Elion made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. The winners were led by the former international point guard Roi Huber (188-1997) who scored that evening 23 points and 7 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and swingman Itay Moskovich (191-2000) supported him with 22 points. Even 18 points and 9 rebounds by American power forward Juvonte Reddic (206-1992, college: VCU) did not help to save the game for E.Kiryat Ata. His fellow American import forward Amin Stevens (203-1990, college: FAMU, agency: BIG) added 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Galil Elion have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 9-7 record. E.Kiryat Ata lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth place with 11 games lost. Galil Elion will meet higher ranked Hapoel Holon (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
