Regular Season Round 24: Polonia W-wa - Dziki Wwa 81-67

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Dziki (17-7) against tenth ranked Polonia (13-11) on Wednesday night. Visiting Dziki was defeated by Polonia in Warszawa 81-67. Polonia forced 19 Dziki turnovers. Dziki was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Patryk Pelka (202-1989) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 rebounds and guard Jan Piliszczuk (194-2000) who added 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Polonia players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Michal Aleksandrowicz (192-1989) with 15 points and guard Przemyslaw Kuzkow (191-1999) scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Polonia have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Koszalin. Dziki at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. Polonia will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dziki will play at home against Turow and hopes to get back on the winning track.
