There was no surprise when 12th ranked Gliwice 2 (8-13) was outleveled by leader Mickiewicz (21-0) in Katowice 115-48 on Thursday. Mickiewicz held Gliwice 2 to an opponent 23.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 63.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Mickiewicz forced 25 Gliwice 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 46-30 including a 33-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. Mickiewicz looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Gliwice 2's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Mickiewicz made 8 blocks.
