There was a surprise result in Boulogne-sur-Mer where twelfth ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (9-15) defeated higher ranked SOPCC (12-12) 71-55 on Friday. They outrebounded SOPCC 44-30 including 18 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Wendell Davis (197-1995, college: Ashland) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Serbian-Montenegrin power forward Luka Nikolic (209-1994) who added 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four SO Maritime Boulogne players scored in double figures. SO Maritime Boulogne's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was forward Ismael Cadiau (198-1998) with 7 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Bryan Coudray (189-2000) scored 13 points.
