Regular Season Round 28: Norrkoping - Umea 94-75

An interesting game for Norrkoping (17-7) which hosted in Norrkoping 4th ranked Umea (14-9). Third ranked Norrkoping had an easy win 94-75. Norrkoping dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Umea's 40. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Umea's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Norrkoping made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Devonte Green (190-1997, college: Indiana) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import guard Marcus Tyus (185-1994, college: Omaha) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Norrkoping players scored in double figures. Norrkoping's coach Mikko Riipinen used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international point guard Gustav Hansson (185-1995) replied with 28 points and 4 assists and American swingman CJ Dunston (198-1994, college: Lancaster Bible, agency: Promo Sport ID) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Umea. Defending champion maintains third position with 17-7 record having just two points less than leader Boras. Umea lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with nine games lost. Norrkoping are looking forward to face Kalmar (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
