Regular Season Round 28: BC Lulea - Fryshuset 102-72

Very expected game when bottom-ranked Fryshuset (0-23) was smashed on the road by fifth ranked BC Lulea (15-10) 102-72 on Friday. BC Lulea shot the lights out from three sinking 22 long-distance shots on high 55.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Fryshuset's players. The winners were led by American forward Brendan Bailey (203-1997, college: Marquette) who scored that evening 31 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Jonatan Arvidsson (184-1998, college: E.Wyoming) supported him with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. BC Lulea's coach Peter Oqvist felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Even 19 points and 5 rebounds by center Leonard Halling-Ibo (202-1992) did not help to save the game for Fryshuset. Jamaican-Canadian point guard Jahmal Jones (185-1991, college: TMU) added 16 points and 7 assists for lost side. Four Fryshuset players scored in double figures. BC Lulea moved-up to fourth place. Loser Fryshuset still closes the standings. BC Lulea will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Fryshuset will play against the league's leader Boras (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
