Second Stage Round 5: Vojvodina 021 - Duga 84-61

The most interesting game of round 5 was a derby match between two teams from Serbia. The game took place in Novi Sad where third ranked Vojvodina 021 outleveled visiting Duga (3-8) 84-61. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Vojvodina 021 dominated on the defensive end, holding Duga to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Duga's 32. They outrebounded Duga 38-23 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Vojvodina 021 (9-2) moved-up to second place. Duga at the other side keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. Vojvodina 021 are looking forward to face Zagreb (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Duga will play against Orlovi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
