Regular Season Round 21: Nanterre - Limoges CSP 92-85

An interesting game took place in Nanterre where 4th placed Limoges CSP (14-6) was upset on the court of eleventh ranked Nanterre (9-11) 92-85. Nanterre forced 22 Limoges CSP turnovers. Strangely Limoges CSP outrebounded Nanterre 49-33 including 18 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Nanterre brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Limoges CSP was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Simeon Kalemba (200-2003) nailed 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and point guard Nathan Zulemie (175-2004) accounted for 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Point guard Hugo Desseignet (175-2003) came up with a triple-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists and Mali forward Mohamed Sidibe (196-2002) added 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Limoges CSP in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nanterre have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Strasbourg. Limoges CSP at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Nanterre will play against Monaco (#12) on the road in the next round. Limoges CSP will play against Le Portel (#17) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
