There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Treviso (9-9) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Mantova (8-10) 60-47 on Saturday. Mantova forced 22 Treviso turnovers. Naturalized Argentinian power forward Florencia Llorente (182-1992) had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Marida Orazzo (175-1994, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Mantova's coach Stefano Purrone allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was naturalized Argentinian swingman Macarena Rosset (178-1991) with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Cecilia Zagni (180-1995) scored 7 points and 7 rebounds. Mantova moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Carugate. Loser Treviso keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. Mantova will meet league's second-placed Scrivia on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Treviso will play against Costa Masnaga (#3) and hope to secure a win.
