Important game to mention about took place in Vasteras. Sixth ranked Aros (10-6) saved a 2-point victory at home edging one of their biggest challengers RIG Lulea (10-6) 76-74 in the game for the third place. Guard Oskar Ekh (190-1999) scored 33 points (!!!) to lead the charge for the winners and Simon Wahlberg chipped in 13 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Aros' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was forward Anton Fontin (201-2006) with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Oliver Stefanovic scored 19 points. Aros have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated RIG Lulea. Aros will play against Akersberga (#4) in Stockholm in the next round. RIG Lulea will play at home against KFUM Sundsvall and hopes to get back on the winning track.
