No shocking result in a game when top-ranked LBC Cocinas (17-0) beat 13th ranked Pas Pielagos (4-13) in Logrono 73-68 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Power forward Javier Lacunza (203-1994, college: FAU) notched 21 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and American swingman Charles Knowles (196-1993, college: William Penn) supported him with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Even 17 points and 8 assists by point guard Mario Solorzano (188-2001) did not help to save the game for Pas Pielagos. Josep Crespo (202-2001) added 19 points and 7 rebounds. Four Pas Pielagos players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. LBC Cocinas have an impressive 17-game winning streak.
