Very important is a road loss of second ranked Levice (15-6) against fifth ranked Inter Bratislava (10-12) on Saturday night. Visiting Levice was crushed by Inter Bratislava in Bratislava 83-61. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Levice. It was an exceptional evening for Lithuanian center Tomas Zdanavicius (203-1996, agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. American swingman JP Moorman II (201-1998, college: UC Riverside, agency: Players Group) accounted for 11 points and 5 assists for the winning side. American forward Tre McCallum (201-1995, college: DePaul) came up with 12 points and 5 rebounds and the former international center Boris Bojanovsky (217-1993, college: FSU) added 10 points and 4 assists respectively for Levice in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Levice's coach Michal Madzin gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Inter Bratislava maintains fifth place with 10-12 record. Defending champion Levice keeps the second position with six games lost. Inter Bratislava will play against Prievidza (#7) on the road in the next round. Levice will play against Komarno (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
