Very expected game when 12th ranked Cimbis (1-14) was smashed on the road by second ranked Huelva Com. (14-1) 118-55 on Sunday. Huelva Com. dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Cimbis' 30. Huelva Com. forced 23 Cimbis turnovers and outrebounded them 60-25 including a 23-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Mark Hetor (197-2001) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and center Ebraim Sima (204-1998) supported him with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Huelva Com. players scored in double figures. Huelva Com.'s coach Gabriel Carrasco felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 16 points by swingman Fernando Quero (190-2003) did not help to save the game for Cimbis. Power forward Carlos Galan (201-2002) added 10 points and 6 rebounds. Huelva Com. have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-1 record having five points less than leader Huelva CD. Loser Cimbis keeps the twelfth place with 14 games lost. Huelva Com. will meet at home Torta del Casar (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. Cimbis will play against Aljaraque (#5) and hope to win that game.
