Everything went according to plan when twelfth ranked Vicenza (9-10) outleveled at home 16th ranked Palermo (3-15) 83-47 on Sunday. Vicenza looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Palermo's players. It was a great evening for forward Andrea Campiello (200-1987) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Valerio Cucchiaro (185-2001, agency: Players Group) helped adding 18 points and 6 assists. At the losing side power forward Giuseppe Caronna (208-1994) responded with 9 points and 6 rebounds and guard Andrea Birra (187-2002) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vicenza moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Palermo lost twelfth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixteenth position with 15 games lost.
