Very expected game when 13th ranked San Miniato (5-13) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Fiorenzuola (11-8) 74-65 on Sunday. It was a great evening for forward Federico Ricci (196-1997) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 5 rebounds. Swingman Mattia Magrini (190-1993) helped adding 12 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side forward Luca Tozzi (200-1999) responded with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Renato Quartuccio (182-1994) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Four San Miniato players scored in double figures. Fiorenzuola moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 6 other teams. San Miniato lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. Fiorenzuola will meet at home Imola Virtus (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
