Regular Season Round 21: Peja - Prishtina 74-72

The most exciting game of round 21 in the Superliga took place in Peja. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-best Prishtina (14-5) to first ranked Peja (15-3) 74-72 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Prishtina. The best player for the winners was American Jalen Tate (198-1998, college: Arkansas) who scored 19 points and 7 assists. Canadian guard Devoe Joseph (193-1990, college: Oregon, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Dardan Berisha (190-1988) who recorded 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American point guard Derrick Wilson (185-1992, college: Marquette) added 23 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Prishtina's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Peja maintains first place with 15-3 record. Prishtina at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. Peja are looking forward to face Prizreni (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Prishtina will play against the league's second-placed Ylli (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
