There was an upset when higher ranked Ancona (10-9) was defeated at home by fifteenth ranked Empoli (4-15) 84-75 on Sunday. Empoli made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for the former international swingman Andrea Casella (195-1990) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists.
