Important game to mention about took place in Krosno. Tenth ranked Miast Szkla (13-12) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 11th ranked Decka (12-13) 83-82 on Sunday evening. Miast Szkla players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Latvian center Klavs Dubults (203-1996) nailed 28 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and forward Konrad Dawdo (198-1999) accounted for 12 points and 5 assists. Guard Damian Ciesielski (187-1997) came up with 17 points and 8 assists and American forward Thomas Davis (198-1991, college: SWOSU) added 14 points and 9 assists respectively for Decka in the defeat. Five Decka players scored in double figures. Decka's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Miast Szkla moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Koszalin. Decka at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Miast Szkla will play against Zak (#9) in Koszalin in the next round. Decka will play at home against Slask and hopes to get back on the winning track.
