Very predictable result when fourth ranked Sant Antimo (13-6) outscored on the road bottom-ranked Pozzuoli (0-19) 106-73 on Sunday. Sant Antimo shot 60.3 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. It was a great evening for power forward Mirko Gloria (203-1995, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds. Point guard Fabio Montanari (180-2001) helped adding 19 points. Four Sant Antimo players scored in double figures. At the losing side Montenegrin power forward Fatih Mehmedovic (205-2000, agency: SLN) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds and guard Marco Cucco (189-1994) scored 9 points and 6 assists. Pozzuoli's coach Alessandro Tagliaferri gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sant Antimo moved-up to third place, which they share with Caserta BLE and San Vendemiano. Pozzuoli lost their nineteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 19 games lost. Sant Antimo will meet at home Bisceglie (#7) in the next round. Pozzuoli will play against the league's leader Ruvo di Puglia (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
