Everything went according to plan when eleventh ranked Senigallia (8-10) won against at home 16th ranked Romagna (2-16) 78-73 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a great evening for point guard Marco Giacomini (182-1994) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Simone Pozzetti (200-1990) helped adding 17 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side center Anfernee Hidalgo (180-1996) responded with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Andrea Lombardo (197-1990) scored 20 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Romagna's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Senigallia maintains eleventh place with 8-10 record. Romagna lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the sixteenth position with 16 games lost. Senigallia will meet Imola (#12) on the road in the next round. Romagna will play against Faenza (#3) having rather not much hope for a victory.
