Very predictable result when third ranked Molina (13-4) rolled over 8th ranked Ontinet (7-10) in Ontinyent 84-54 on Sunday. Molina outrebounded Ontinet 39-26 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Daniel Sanchez notched 10 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and Jose Lorca (-2001) supported him with 10 points. Four Molina players scored in double figures. Even 12 points by Dutch forward Lawrence Slim (201-1998, college: Flagler) did not help to save the game for Ontinet. American guard Eddie Czerapowicz (185-2000) added 8 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Molina maintains third position with 13-4 record having four points less than leader Huelva CD, which they share with Marin. Ontinet at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth place with ten games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Molina will meet at home Caja Rural (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ontinet will have a break next round.
