Regular Season Round 25: Caen - Feurs CTC 88-71

Very expected game when 10th ranked Feurs CTC (10-15) lost on the road to fourth ranked Caen (17-8) 88-71 on Tuesday. Caen looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Yanik Blanc (188-1999) nailed 18 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Kenyan-American forward Joel Awich (201-1993, college: Cal Poly) accounted for 12 points and 7 rebounds. Caen's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Anthony Spinali (194-1997) came up with 22 points and forward Junior Zero (195-1997) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Feurs CTC in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Caen have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Newly promoted Feurs CTC keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Tours and Boulogne. Caen will meet SO Maritime Boulogne (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Feurs CTC will play against Besancon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
