Very expected game when 15th ranked Amyntas (5-13) was edged by tenth ranked Megaridas (9-8) in Athens 73-71 on Wednesday. Dimitrios Geromichalos notched 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and point guard Dimitris Geromichalos (185-1994) supported him with 15 points. Even 20 points and 9 rebounds by American-Argentinian forward Donovan Johnson (201-1992, college: KWC) did not help to save the game for Amyntas. Forward Angelos Damianos (202-2004) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Megaridas moved-up to ninth place.
