The game in Banja Luka was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Bulgarian Montana (6-5) played at the court of 5th ranked Bosnian Orlovi (3-7). Montana defeated Orlovi 81-65. Orlovi was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Montana dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Orlovi's 30. They outrebounded Orlovi 43-26 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. American Shereen Sutherland (188-1994, college: UC Irvine) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds for the winners and North Macedonian point guard Andjelika Mitrashinovic (177-1993) chipped in 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Montana's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Serbian guard Marina Ristic (168-1987) responded with 14 points and 4 assists and center Andjela Sipka (186-2002) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Montana and five Orlovi players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Montana maintains fourth place with 6-5 record. Orlovi at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Montana will play against bottom-ranked Lavovi (#8) in Brcko in the next round. Orlovi will play on the road against Duga in Sabac and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
