No shocking result in a game when thirteenth ranked Ensino (9-12) beat bottom-ranked Tenerife (2-19) in Lugo 69-60 on Thursday. They outrebounded Tenerife 41-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by guard Alba Prieto (180-1999, college: S.Florida) who had that evening a triple-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists and the former international forward Paula Ginzo (187-1998) supported her with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Ensino's coach Antonio Pernas allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 8 points and 7 rebounds by American center Kai James (196-1995, college: FSU) did not help to save the game for Tenerife. Her fellow American import guard Aisha Sheppard (175-1998, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Green Sports Management) added 14 points for the guests. Ensino have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Tenerife lost eighth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 19 lost games.
