There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Besancon (12-14) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Feurs CTC (11-15) 87-79 on Friday. Feurs CTC forced 19 Besancon turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Cameroonian power forward Franck Yangue (205-1990, agency: Inception Sports) who scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Mali forward Ibrahima Haidara (202-1992) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Mali point guard Siriman Kanoute (181-2001) produced 18 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and American Mykal Riley (198-1985, college: Alabama) added 13 points respectively for the guests.
